A community-led, independent salary and benefits survey of the technology industry in Louisville at the end of 2017. This project was coordinated by a committee of volunteers on the LouisvilleTech Slack workspace, and includes statistical surveying, data analysis, visualization, and design. Due to a successful first round, the 2018 survey is currently being planned and is expected to be larger in participation and better in execution! View the online version.

Created in InDesign to make use of master pages and character/paragraph styles, this version of the survey makes use of an A4 landscape design and a multi-column layout to display a large amount of information while leaving enough room to prominently display the visualization of the community data.

In this year's survey, more attention to detail will be given to the piece through recreating the tables and charts with brand styles and colors. This will alleviate constraints that arose from using charts originally built for portrait letter layout.
